Marald Van Haasteren is a fine artist based in Leiden, Netherlands. His approach is bold yet masterfully delicate, often times exploring ideas of elegance and beauty in nature. Marald has created work for a number of aggressive bands including Ghost, Bolt Thrower, High on Fire, Deafheaven, Kylesa, Wolfbrigade, and more. Recently he has worked on incredible visual collaborations with John Dyer Baizley for the Baroness albums “Purple” and “Gold and Grey”.
Marald’s “Mercifully” and “Mercilessly” illustrations were inspired by the two songs which bookend the “Rust on the Gates of Heaven” album by Wear Your Wounds. Each panel represents the struggle and entanglement between the light and dark in life. They are tied together symbolically by a circular shape consisting of half a crown of thorns (sacrifice) & half a nest (nurture).

Returns
The stock market is always changing. It's not completely managed by us, as we have multiple organizations, such as the factory and our storage. Stock levels can fluctuate at any given time. Be aware that it's possible that your order will be out of stock after you have placed the order.
Our policy lasts thirty days. If you don't receive your item within the 30 days period, we are unable to offer either a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund the item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it in. It should also be in the original packaging.
